Pretty Nostalgic Magazine

I have been enjoying Pretty Nostalgic magazine since the very first issue and it rapidly became my favourite, even the smell of it is lovely. The content takes you back to almost another time of in direct opposition to the modern world with it's living of life at breakneck speed, materialism and our disposable society. It brings the past to life again and makes it relevant to the modern day. Over the past year the magazine has had a slight change in direction, while keeping to all it's original ethos it's now morphed in to a society of like minded individuals and as such is now available only at selected outlets or via membership/subscription to the magazine. More information can be found at the Pretty Nostalgic website. It was lovely to receive the new style compendium society magazine through the door this morning, so many interesting articles to read and enjoy.

This is a sneak peek from the website on the contents of the new issue, when I can find my camera charger I'll take some more photos.

  1. I found the magazine once at the local bookseller and I really enjoyed it, especially the pledge. I thought maybe they'd quit carrying it because I hadn't seen it since, but I guess it was because you have to get a subscription now. Shame all my favourite magazines come from the UK - shipping to Canada is horrific so I can only afford to get an occasional one and not a full year subscription to any of them. :)
